I was born 26.02.78, which makes me almost 26 now! I am pisces. I am female. I reside in comfy town, Perth, Western Australia. My mother is American, my father Latvian. I think this leaves me somewhere lost in between.

I am a director at Papercut Media. It is the kind of thing that just hits you every now and then, but more often it's my friends reminding me how far I've come and how great it is not having a boss. But I know the realities of running a busy, and sometimes it's not so pretty...
This company started off as a spark between my mind and my friend Patrick Pittman's. Both inspired by the present state of Perth media and job opportunities and by the desire to do what we do best - creative freelance activity, we united, along with the spectacular Jacob Fjord, to form what is now a creative projects and fun stuff company! www.papercutmedia.com.

So I am spending week days sitting at my G4 in a loft studio in Leederville. It is rather nice here. I have an endless supply of coffee and I can always jump on my bike and scoot down to 130s to meet a client or a friend, if we do run out.

Of course the music is always on in the studio. Convieniently Patrick and I love the same music so with the endless coffee comes an endless supply of MP3s. Mostly we rock out to indie and alt country tunes... smog, death cab, joe pernice, lambchop, the beta band and all that... and occassionally the boys let me put on george michael, peaches, funk and break beat. just occassionally...

And when i'm not at papercut? I am at the beach! or reading spiritually inspiring novels, volunteering for human rights or environmental causes (trying to change the world!) Or I'm dreaming,... of a beautiful community, a beautiful life or a beautiful man... ;)

Other than all this.. I love: colours, beauty found in the mundane, doggies, gardens, cooking for others, polaroids, melbourne + friends there, making change, sharing inspiration, motivating, eating scrumptious vegetarian tastes, yoga + meditation, jazz, meeting beautiful people, getting all dressed up the way you want, getting and giving surprises, drumming and dancing!
